Raising Awareness

One of our aims when embarking on this initiative was to raise awareness of Lize-Mari's rare form of cancer and get the community involved in helping this family when they needed it most. (PAG's value of UBUNTU). We are so proud to have Lize-Mari's story reaching others in the community and are proud to announce that an article was published in the Northcliff Melville Times yesterday. We have also approached the Sandton Chronicle and Die Burger newspaper in the Cape. We are also very excited to finally have our cycling shirts. Don't the Business Innovation team models look great in them?

I would love to share a wonderful story with you about a friend of ours who is going all out to assist us in raising money for Lize-Mari. Gary Rabie is a great cycling friend of ours and has initiated his own cycle challenge competition! His idea is to cycle for 1 hour on an indoor cycling trainer (stationary bike attached to rollers) and get people at his office to guess how many kilometres he can do in that time. He'll have a spedometer attached to his bike to measure the distance. Each person that makes a guess has to contribute R20 towards our Cancer Fighting Journey. He has raised over R900 so far (and counting) which he'll be donating to the Lize-Mari Trust Fund. His cycle challenge will take place on 10th December, the day before we leave. So how many kilometres do you think he can do in one hour ??
We'll give you the results after the 10th December.
